For all of the kids out there who are culinary-curious, or even just looking for a creative way to spend the school holidays, our dedicated children's class is just for you! Join us behind the scenes to where all of our sugary magic happens, as we get messy with chocolate, learning how to make New Farm Confectionery's famous Rocky Road. We'll also be designing bespoke Chocolate Bars of your own, AND will even supply the recipes for recreation at home!
What to wear?
Comfortable casual clothing is acceptable. Enclosed shoes are required, and we suggest bringing a jumper along with you as it can get cool in our kitchens.
What will we supply?
Aprons to protect your clothes will be provided to all participants, but as there is chocolate involved and we will be working in an active kitchen, we recommend keeping the 'messy' factor in mind when choosing your wardrobe for the occasion. We will also supply a glass of sparkling wine to all guests over the age of 18+ years. Packaging to take your creations home in will also be supplied.
What is the age limit?
This class is for kids aged 10-16yrs. Parents and carers are welcome to attend, but they will be required to purchase their own ticket.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds for our workshops or classes unless the event does not go ahead due to not meeting minimum numbers. With a minimum notice period of two weeks, we are able to move your booking to an alternate date.
What are our minimum numbers?
For the Kids Chocolate Workshop there is a minimum of 8 people required for the class to go ahead.
What are our maximum numbers?
For the Kids Chocolate Workshop there is a maximum of 12 people per class.
Do I need experience?
No, not at all. All of our classes are designed with the culinary novice in mind - we will teach you all you need to know!
