Chocolate School

If you have any dietary requirements or are purchasing a workshop as a gift please email info@newfarmconfectionery.com.au with details of attendees or allergens.

Comfortable, casual clothing is fine. Enclosed shoes are required, and we recommend bringing a jumper—our kitchens can get chilly.

We'll supply aprons and packaging to take your chocolates home. As it’s a working kitchen with chocolate involved, expect a bit of mess—dress accordingly.

Our classes are open to anyone aged 13 and up. While we know how adorable kids can be making chocolate, if you haven’t purchased an adult ticket to join them, we kindly ask that you drop them off before class and pick them up afterward. Participants under 18 must be dropped off and collected by a guardian.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings are non-refundable. You may reschedule or receive a gift card for the full amount if at least 7 days’ notice is provided. Within 7 days of your booking, changes are not permitted. If we cancel, you’ll receive a full refund or be offered a reschedule.

Minimum Numbers

If a class doesn’t meet minimum numbers, we’ll notify you 48 hours in advance and offer a refund or reschedule.

Dietary Needs

Please notify us of any dietary requirements at booking. While we do our best, we are not an allergen-free kitchen and cannot guarantee accommodations in all cases.

Attendance & Conduct

Adult classes are not suitable for children or infants. Please arrive 10 minutes early. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.

Parking

Limited parking is available onsite at the corner of Byres & Waterloo Streets. Additional street parking nearby.

Photography

We may photograph or film during classes for promotional use. By attending, you grant us permission to use your image.

Liability Waiver

By attending, you accept the inherent risks of a kitchen environment and release New Farm Confectionery from liability for injuries or property loss. You may be held responsible for damage caused during the class.
